RiscPC Battery Replacement

At some point in its past, my RiscPC had its battery removed and replaced with a coin cell battery holder with resistor and diode to reduce the chance of damage due to battery leakage and also make the task of replacing the battery much easier.

The battery powers the CMOS as usual and only needs replacing every 5 to 7 years so it's a great modification to make to the machine.
